BUILDING THE NEXT GENERATION

The popularity of girl’s basketball is on the rise everywhere across North America and it is time that there is a league matching the potential of the athletes playing the sport.

The EGL is a not-for-profit league that is designed to bring a level of professionalism and quality that matches the best pro leagues around the world.

Learn more about how we are building a basketball infrastructure that allows the athletes and clubs to focus on competing and development while we take care of the rest.

SCHEDULING

PLANNING LIKE THE BIG LEAGUES

We create the full season schedule before the start of the league. Teams will know exactly when, where, and who they are playing weeks before the first tip-off. Teams play two games per day for each of their competition weekends. The league will post the full schedule two weeks before the first competitive weekend.

LOCATIONS

REDUCING TRAVELS TIMES WITH OUR EAST AND WEST GYM HUBS

The EGL will have two main hubs that will host all of our games. The Hamilton region will be hosting games for teams that are west of Burlington. For teams in the GTA or east of that, we will be hosting games in Etobicoke.

For the 2026/27 season the EGL is also exploring hosting games in the Durham region for teams who hail from that region of Ontario.

LEAGUE STATS

FEEL LIKE A PRO

Complete box scores are kept for each game (the same as you would find in the pros or NCAA). After each game the stats are uploaded to our website so that every player, coach, and parent has full access to all of the games and stats.
